Local Search Ranking Factors 2013

We should all thank David Mihm for creating and publishing yet another annual edition of The Local Search Ranking Factors. This survey compiles the opinions of some of the top local SEO experts to provide the local search community with a wealth of valuable insight.search1

Although this year was full of changes in local search, these findings show little change in the ranking factors Google uses to determine local search results. The findings show Reviews Signals (Review quantity, Review velocity, Review diversity, ect.) remain in the top five for general ranking factors.
